Two boutique wineries in California’s up-and-coming Livermore Valley hired me to create a brand voice that would convey their passion and commitment to craftsmanship. For the makers of Mia Nipote, family history is everything, so I told the story of the man who inspired the wine. With Harris Tesla, the winemakers were anxious to showcase the fruit-forward characteristics of their Cabernet. Of course I did plenty of product “research” to achieve that intoxicating tone.
